$150 will be spent on your student(s) this year by the Fiske PTO. That's more than $50,000 on Classroom and School Resources, Community Events, and Curriculum Enrichment programs that improve every Fiske Student's academic experience.

Community EventsThese free events for Fiske families, teachers and staff build community, confidence, friendships and Fiske school spirit. Examples include: Welcome Back Coffee, Ice Cream Social, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, METCO Family Friends, Safe Routes to School, Int'l Pot Luck Dinner, Bingo Night, Talent Show, LEF Trivia Bee and More! Classroom and School ResourcesThe PTO supplements the Lexington Public School budget to provide resources that help make a Fiske education excellent. PTO funds go towards new technology, classroom items, recess equipment, student scholarships, teacher mini-grants, room parent assistance, and landscape improvements. Curriculum EnrichmentHands-on activities engage students and strengthen their classroom learning. All professional education specialists brought into Fiske classrooms and all-school assemblies are funded by the PTO. Examples include: Arts Created Together (ACT), Classroom Science Programming, Library Funding, MCBA program for Grade 5, Web Access Programs, Science Fair, Big Backyard Walks, supporting Family Math Nights, Field Day, Fit Girls and More!
